Over 25 years of caring support for bereaved families in our area, the St. Paul Chapter of The Compassionate Friends warmly welcomes you to our website!
The death of a child of any age or cause is a catastrophic and life-changing experience for a family. The St. Paul, Minnesota Chapter of The Compassionate Friends hold out our hands in friendship and understanding to those whose children, stepchildren, brothers, sisters, and/or grandchildren have died. No matter the age or cause of death, or the circumstances that brought you here, we believe you will find helpful information to assist you in navigating through this most difficult grief journey. Please know that we are very sorry for the reason you are visiting this website, but we are so glad that you found us.
In this website, you will find information regarding what our chapter is all about: our chapter meetings and sharing sessions; chapter events honoring the memory of our children; speakers, directions to our chapter meetings, present and past chapter newsletters; helpful articles on grief; links for other grief support and a link to our chapter Facebook page; information on TCF national and regional conferences; a list of phone support friends; videos and library information, and much more. We will continually add and change things on this website, so please visit often. And, most importantly, remember that we are here to help in every way we can. You need not walk alone; we are The Compassionate Friends!
"It is the gift of HOPE which reigns supreme in the attributes of The Compassionate Friends. HOPE that life can still be worth living and meaningful again. HOPE that the pain of loss will become less acute, and, above all else, the HOPE that we do not walk alone, and that we are understood. The gift of HOPE is the greatest gift that we can give to those who mourn."
